PERSONNEL

Since its inception and to present date Pieter-Ben van Aswegen is the sole member of P design cc. Pieter-Ben has over 18 years experience in civil and structural engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) since 2002. He is also a member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE). Pieter-Ben specializes in structural engineering and has obtained an Honours degree as well as a Masters degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Pretoria.

Pieter-Ben has worked in various industries for consultancy and engineering firms. His previous employers include the established firms of BKS, Sotiralis Consulting, Tolplan and Uhde Thyssenkrupp. He has got experience working on a wide variety of projects from residential, commercial and industrial developments to highway bridges, toll plazas, lattice towers, mining and petro-chemical process plants.

Award winning achievements include the structural design of the Diamond Hill Toll Plaza in Gauteng – Overall Winner of the 2005 South African Institute of Steel Construction Annual awards.
